Baby gecko

I just brought home a baby gecko yesterday. I plan on integrating her with my current leopard gecko when she is a bit larger. Currently she is in a separate tank with everything she could possibly need. She is very small, and I am concerned about feeding. I left her alone all day yesterday, this morning I tried to hand feed her some small crickets. She was a little spooked, so I left them in the tank with her. She tried to get one but missed. I am going to try hand feeding her again later tonight. Any suggestions on feeding a baby gecko new to her home?

They told me she is a couple months old and is about 2.5 inches long. I will leave her alone until she is adjusted, I just want to make sure she eats.

Just keep offering the food. You may want to consider a bowl of mealworms since they don't move around that much and may be easier for her to grab. It's not unusual for geckos to stop eating for a few days or longer in a new environment. Put the food out and don't worry about hand feeding. If she made it for a few months in the pet store she'll likely eat for you too.

A couple months and 2.5"? That doesn't sound right. Can you post pics?

And don't worry if she doesn't eat right away. It's not unusual for new reptiles to not eat the first few days they're in a new environment. Just keep offering her food and make sure your husbandry is right, and she'll eat. Do you have mealworms? They might be easier so you can leave them in a dish.

EDIT: Sorry. Didn't see the previous post til now. :)

Ya I have meal worms. They told me that she didn't like them though. I will try them anyway, if she gets hungry enough I am sure she will eat them. Thanks!
