is there any like Healthy water instead of like tap or bottle water? somthing that give them nutrians and stuff.

also is there place i can get one them weigh scales so i can find out how much these weigh so i can find out when its best time go find out there sex, and also i noticed mine like to climb... is there anything i can use to make somthing so they can crawl up or somthing?

any info would be greatly appericated

I dunno if it is a good idea but for Example Steve Sykes is giving mealies from statup and he has good and healthy Geckos.
I dunno aboutthe water but it would be interesting to know Water with all kinds of supplements in it^^ that would be interesting hehe.

And to the scale, you can take a loog for a digital kitchen scale on ebay. I had mine stolen from my moms Kitchen^^ It realy works fine.
To the crawling, you can use stones or build a backwall with styrofoam and such things (I will send you a realy cool link but I dunno if I can post it in public here).

And yeah no Problem with housing Albinos with non albinos the are all Leopardgeckos^^.

Hope I could help a bit^^

I only feed meal worms to all my geckos. Their is a very good reason for this. Meal worms stay in the bowl. crickets wander the cage floor trying to eat anything they can. This includes the geckos feces"even if you clean cages daily you are still going to have fecal matter" This is not healthy for the gecko over time because it can re introduce pathogens back to the gecko. Over time this can build to unhealthy levels. Their are people that only feed crickets to their geckos with healthy results, I choose not to take the chance of it happening. As far as scales go, put food scales or gram scales in your Google search. you will find many web sites that sell them for cheap...Hope this helps...Dave...

Mealworms and crickets are both excellent food sources for Leos. Most people prefer to use mealworms because they are easier to keep.

I've never heard of any vitamin waters for reptiles but you can easily provide your geckos with all of the supplements they need. -

First step is to "gutload" your mealworms (or crickets). If type the word gutload into the search box it will pull up lots of different threads on the subject. Personally, we use Cody's Pro Gutload as bedding for the mealworms and crickets but you can also make your own.

Second step is to leave plain calcium in a dish for you Leos. Without extra calcium they can develop Metabolic Bone Disease so it's very important.

Third step is to dust the mealworms or crickets with vitamin powder one a week.

If you follow those steps you should have healthy geckos for a very long time!

Also, check out the forum topic on housing to see people's creative cage designs.

You can get a digital food scale at your local Walmart or Target. Meal worms or crix? It's all personal preference, the key is to gut load like Mel&Keith said. I would however stay away from those dried insects, they more then likely have preservatives in them.

another prob with crickets is that some places like the petstores (big name atleast) can carry parasites and things. pinworm is a big one. it is rare that i ever feed my geckos crickets, mainly just mealworms, occasional waxworms to.

I bought my dig scale at Staples. But Walmart, Target e-bay are all good places to look. I feed my hatchlings mealworms and sometimes other things like phoenix worms. I give them dust food once a week and a cap of calcium in the tub every day.

My large adults eat super worms right from the tongs. I've never had a problem. I go to a reptile show once a month around here, get 2,000 super worms, 1,000 medium mealies, some wax and phoenix worms that I feed once a week with dusted reptivite. All other days I dust with Bone Aid pure calcium without D3. I really think that overdosing on D3 can be a problem since they usually don't have a UVB source to metabolize the the D3. I agree with Mel, keep a little bowl in the cage so they can regulate their intake freely.

Thrift stores are the best places to find little tiny bowls....fo like 10 cent yall.

In response to the last question. Only house females together and males alone. If possible, house them all alone to greatly reduce the stress level. My ladies have been catty in the past and have had little lady fights, but nothing like 2 males going at it.... Never house males together. I have 3 female/1 male colonies for breeding, but I don't recommend putting juvi females with males or even putting them together period, unless you are breeding. The male is usually removed after i feel the deed has been done. He has his own pimp pad in the rack. If you are not breeding, the male getting rough with her nightly will stress her out and ovulation will cause her to loose weight and not eat. 12 of mine live large in a rack and have their own box. I have one colony of 3 females/1male in a 30 long and the last 3 are females in another 30 long.

Thats my 2 cents, but everyone has their own systems. Ask ask ask!!! The people on this site are a wonderful resource and will, from experience, answer the same question about a zillion times.

Ahhhh. nothing like awaking to the sound of a male tail rattle in the middle of the night and hearing Barry White in the back of your head....Sexy time!
Maybe I can sample that sound and mix it....could be a smash underground industrial beat.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.
