Our first baby snakes have arrived! I was hoping my sand boas would breed for me this year, and I suspected that my female has been gravid for a while, but I wasn't entirely sure until Wednesday evening. I checked on her when I went to my building to feed geckos and she had a very large lump pretty far down on her body rather than the overall fat look that she's been sporting. I was hoping that meant babies were on the way! I fed the geckos and about half an hour later I checked on her again. No more lump - now there were 11 babies in there with her! Boy, was that fast! I was sorry that I missed the actual birth, but couldn't be happier with the babies! They are so sweet! Mom looks great and is doing very well!

The pictures are pretty dark or washed out by the flash. The babies are all in shed as well, but such cute little things! I'll get better pics after they shed.
Anyway, here they are!

Great looking Litter Nancy! I can't wait to see what they look like once they shed. I already see some Killer Orange on them!

Thanks! I think they are just so adorable - I find myself checking on them probably way more often than they'd like.

Shanti, they are about the length and thickness of a pencil - just a pile of squirmy little worms! :D

Thanks everyone! :)

Yes, I do plan to sell them. I want to get them well started and feeding on F/T before they go, though. Any that are still here will be coming with me to the Super Show in January!
