Eggs from all three of the red stripe girls that I got from HQR last fall hatched yesterday and today!!!:D

The first two are Lily's hatchlings. She was paired with my red stripe male, Harkin, from Dan L. They both hatched today - the one only moments before picture time! My new avatar pic is another shot of the first one.

The next is Elsa's hatchling. She was also paired with Harkin.

The last two are Alice's babies. She was paired with Basil, my tang Bell from Kelli. I'm really excited about these two!

Thanks! :)

Tonya - I sure will give you a call! I'll be selling most / all of the straight red stripes and at least some of the Bell hets. I'm keeping a few of those for my striped Bell project, but probably not all (assuming those still incubating hatch ok). Basil had a striped parent, and even though he's normally banded, lookie what he fathered! Too cool! I love working with stripes!:D

Joyce - This is the first half of that project, unfortunately my Bell female that I tried to cross with Harkin didn't ovulate while in with Harkin. She had "issues" with the other female that was in there, so I took her out. She ovulated in Dec last year, though so maybe sometime soon she'll get going! No RWs yet (lots of hets), although Meander's first clutch is due to hatch. The first egg is either pipping or rotting as we speak.....:worried2:

I really like the second and third ones with the dark sides on the tails. Some of our best Redstripes were very dark and sooty at hatching, then ten days later, bam !
