So, I am obviously a newbie. I am just curious how Leos change as they get older.
Pretty please show me your Leos' picture as a baby and then as an adult. :wideeyed:

Here's Puzzle when I first got him in the beginning of Dec:

And here he is now, but it's only a month later and he's still barely 5 months old:

I'll update some more pics when he's a bit older...but you can already see how much he grew in just a month. They grow fast in the first year.

Here's Kaida, my Mack Snow. Her baby picture is the photo that Debbie Prince took when she had her, since she was already pretty big when I got her. Hope it's alright to post it, if not then let me know.

I don't know how old she is here *Photo courtesy of Debbie Prince*

The way she pretty much looks now, first photo shoot with my photo box. The pics I took here turned out really dark for some reason, I think it was because of our old camera...not sure.

Then I've got pictures of Leonith, the little Tangerine Rainwater I got from Mel & Keith of Concrete Jungle Geckos. Sadly she has since passed away, but I'm glad I have pictures of her. She was a sweetheart.

Later during that same photoshoot I did with Kaida, a month or so before she passed away.

Oh my gosh Jessica, I am so sorry about Leonith, what happened?

I know how it feels to lose a gecko, it's hard... :(

Unfortunately I'm not sure what happened to her :( It was the weekend that I had LASIK eye surgery and I was gone for a couple days (during the weekend) I left them with plenty of food and water and their lights and UTHs are set on timers and thermostats so they were good for a couple days at least.

Well when I came home Leonith was upside down in her worm dish, she'd been dead for a little while at least since she was starting to get stiff and she was cold. It was during all that mealworm pesticide suspicion so that's the only thing I can think of because I thought she was healthy until then. It was really sudden, I had no warning.

Thankfully Kaida has a clean bill of health from the vet, and is eating again. She chowed down on 4 superworms last night, between 2 and 4 every other night in the past week too. I thought she was brumating, because there for a month she didn't want food at all, but wasn't loosing weight and she looked good physically. Either way though I'm glad she's eating again, I worry lol.

I followed your story on Kiya, I'm so sorry you lost her. I can definitely relate *hug* You've got Ares though, as I have Kaida, and if Ares is anything like Kaida he's been a big help to you.

Aw, I am so sorry to hear about your poor Leonith. :(
Thank you so much for your condolenses.
Ares has helped a lot. He is just a bundle of joy, especially now that he is realizing I am a friend. He is less Skiddish and likes being held now, which is nice. :) He doesn't even flail when you pick him up anymore. Lol
