Babys show colour? how long before

I know that the babies have a different pattern and colour to adult ones.
i have one thats just 2 weeks old, neraing 3 weeks max. when do i see its colours start to change or when do i see its actual natural patter that will stay with it

Mine are still changing slightly and they are 2 1/2 years old!
