Back heat

I am looking for some advice. I have got some racking coming that I have had made. The problem is as heat matts placed on the backs of the racks. I know leopard geckos need belly heat but would it be ok to use back heat? I have researched old posts and found out that people do use back heat and had no issues. The is no way I can move the matts so the advice is would it do the geckos any harm using back heat or will it be safe?

The one rack I have (overflow hatchling rack) has back heat and it seems to work fine.

I've actually seen quite a few commercial racks that are built with the flexwatt running down the backs of the bins and people seem to like/use those with no issues

I believe the U**** gecko uses back heat in all there racks... And they seem to produce nice healthy looking geckos
