Wow! It's been months since I've been on, and I'm glad to forums are still busy busy busy! :) My leopard gecko (Lizard Boy...he's most likely a girl...xD) is doing great, but I do have a quick question/concern. Well, his tail is just really fat, but he's not fat, and I'm just wondering if his obese tail could cause him any problems. What can I do to change it, if so? I've been feeding him a few less mealies. Any suggestions? Thanks :)

If its just chubby, I would think it would be normal just means your gecko is well hydrated and healthy.

But it would really depend would need to see a picture of what your talking about here.

I would think it just means he's happy and healthy. I've been wondering the same thing about my Mandarin actually so it's funny that this thread showed up. Mandarin also has a very, very thick tail but the rest of her body is normal.

I have a SHTCT that has a thin streamlined body but a beautiful fat tail. A fat tail is a sign of a VERY healthy leo. I too was concerned about mine for the same reason but as long as the tail is fat no worries :D
