My baby leo has a bit of flaky dead skin on her tail. I got her from +++++ 3 days ago and it hasn't changed. She has a humid hide with damp moss and paper towel. Is there anything I can do?

Spray just a little water on her tail to soften it. Use your fingernails to strip it off. There's not much and it's not constricting anything, so if she resists and you can't get much off at first, don't worry. Just work at it a little at a time.

I have a leo with MBD and she often needs help with the tip of her tail and her toes. I put her in a shallow dish of warm water and slowly work the shed off with tweezers.

If she was housed with other leos at the pet store I wouldn't be surprised if those were light nips from her cage mates that are healing. I would spray or soak as others have advised but I wouldn't rub at them. In a few weeks they should heal up and go away.
