are baby spinach leaves and chives really bad for beardies?

Neither is bad, but spinach does bind with calcium, so if you feed exclusively spinach the beardie may have a calcium problem. There is a good list of many veggies and live feeders color-coded for how often they should be fed at www.beardeddragon.org on one of their care sheets.
