BAH-1000SC Thermostat NOT WORKING!..

I ordered this thermostat last week and got it a few days ago; http://www.bigappleherp.com/BAH-1000-Thermostat?sc=2&category=15 and it doesn't seem to be to working. I set it on 94degrees (the highest its suppose to go) and my thermometer reads 101.6!!! I'm getting really annoyed I tried to bring it down to 90 to see what happens and it doesn't shut off either. I don't get this darn thing. I thought my rheostat was bad but this is horrible.

Should I send it back for a new one or try to turn it completely?

I'd send it back and ask for a new one. It should work. Yours is either not installed right (no idea how that's even possible) or defective (most likely). Idk what big apple herp's return policy is, but I'm pretty sure they'd take back a defective product. If the second one doesn't work, I'd ask for my money back and go somewhere else to get a thermostat
