I was wanting to know since I bought a 20 gallon long which had pieces of wood that came from Petsmart/Petco and housed a Bearded Dragon if I should bake the wood in the oven to sterilize it. If I can what should I put the stove on to bake and for how long.

That may cause a fire I have always added some bleach to a sink full of water and soak it for a while

Dry wood ignites without the presence of flame at 660 F. Baking it in a 200 degree oven for 90 minutes does the trick, and won't be an issue.

Definitely bake it. Since wood is pourous you can never actually get 100% of the bleach you clean with out of it, and therefore it's more hazardous than helpful.

Drift wood tends to have a high ignition point. Bake a piece of wood at around 2-300 for an hour or so. Used to doing this for the fish tanks.

Boiling wood for dry use tends to lead to all kinds of molds or fungus, it can also make the wood more prone to falling apart.
