i am truly sorry for your loss it is never easy to lose anything you love.......did you make the changes to your husbandry that needed to be fixed?? the uv light sounded to me a lot like a big issue there....having wet looking skin sounds like burns to me almost looks like they have vaseline on their bodies when they are burnt......but again i am really sorry to hear about your loss and i hope it doesnt deter you away from reptiles, leopard geckos especiially some geckos are just born with problems that are sometimes unreversable!!!
