It looks good, but I think I'd prefer a more interesting font. Is this for your website banner or is this an advertisement? If it's an advertisement, you need to make your name stick out more. Right now the giant image of the albino in the right side is drawing all the attention away from your logo. In other words, the image is too heavy to the right. You need to balance the weight out.

If this is a banner for your website, you can ditch the .com and put Herp Encounter on two different lines in the middle to make your name stick out more. The black background also reduces contrast in your enigma, and I think that's the prettier gecko. You should make the enigma bigger and the Tremper smaller.

Hehehe, you asked. ;-) I've got friends in web design and photography, can ya tell?

Yes I did ask so thanks lol.

If you look at my site you can see it is black, gray and white so that was the colors I was trying to go with.

I will work on it a bit.

I like that last one more! It's simple, and the font is elegant with a hint at informality and is easy to read. The picture of the Tremper is perfectly placed, and since the animal is looking at the name, it immediately draws the observers attention right to your name, which is where they should be looking in the first place. I approve!
