It is, I like to just sit there and watch him. But I wonder who watches some times.Hahaha thats a funny pose
I also love all animals, if I could I would have a zoo. My Tokay has calmed down some he has gotten used to being handled. Once I have him in my hand he is ok as long as there is no fast movements. In the begining I would not handle him without gloves. They are very aggresive. A "look don't touch" kind of gecko. I only handle him when cleaning his tank.Hahaha, I love geckos and just all Animals in general. They never do any thing wrong, There your best friends and moments like these where you can just laugh make having a gecko Completely worth it. Is your Tokay very friendly? I hear some of them are snippy and like to bite.
Yes it hurts; if you type in tokay gecko in youtube you will see some videos where people have them attached to their fingers, usually with alot of blood. They have alot of teeth.Wait so the bites hurt a lot? I heard they were aggressive but I wasn't sure if they put a lot of pressure on there bites or had sharper teeth.
They make an aggressive "bark" and a mating call. Tokay are known to be vocal though espically males;mostly during breeding season. But I have not heard of tokay calling their owners. lol. Mine has barked at me a few times when I put my hand to close to his tank and was not expecting it. Also I have heard him calling in the middle of the nite. It is pretty neat. They also wag their tails when they get really excited like with food. I have seen mine do that a few times its pretty cool.Wow, Then having one tamed is very Fortunate. Congrats I've heard Tokay's also make calling noises when Owners come home or just for the sake of Calling. Have you ever heard yours do that?
