BB question

I have a pair of Rainwater BB inbound. A local store has a BIG female BB but is not sure of the albino strain. If she is not RW would she throw double het blizzards solely?

I can say with a large certainity that the pet store leo is not a RW blazing blizz. It is either a standard blizzard or a Tremper Blazing.

If you were to breed a Tremper Blazing to a RWB, you would produce all Blizzards that are het for RW and het for Tremper.

That is where the trouble would start. You could not tell the difference between the hets and if they were bred together, you would never be able to tell the difference between TBB and RWBB.

I would be willing to bet on TBB for the female at the store. I wasn't sure if the offspring (using the RWBB) would be double het or a split of RW het and T het which I couldn't differentiate.

I 100% agree with everything Jeremy says. Getting that BB from the petstore to breed with your RWBB's wouldn't be a wise investment.
