My son and I recently hatched out 20 bearded dragons. I have one in the group though that seems alittle off. When you walk by the tank he'll lean his head backat a 90 degree angle over his back. After he sits that way for awhile he'll actually fall over on his side then to his back. He's eating ok just seems off balance. Any suggestions on whats up?

I had a baby like that before. I believe it was a neurological issue. It got progressively worse until the baby was running in circles and could no longer hunt.

I hope thats not what your baby has, but it doesn't sound promising.

Congrats on the hatchlings though!!

Grats on the hatchlings! I agree that it sounds neurological. As for whether or not it will worsen, only time will tell. I'll keep my fingers crossed for the little pooper

I have a leopard gecko hatchling (not an enigma) that would tend to fall over on its right side, almost like the right front leg was collapsing) and tilt its head up, especially when stressed. In this case, it seems to be getting better as it grows. It can usually walk normally, but will sometimes tilt a bit if it's trying to get away. It's worth waiting awhile to see what happens as it matures.
