Wow..I'm amazed!

Okay, I got Solis from a big name pet store that we won't mention. She was the healthiest and largest one there. She really stood out from all the others, too..So I picked her up. This is her when I first got her.

She looks so sad :( and was kept on sand with about 10 other babies :main_angry:.

I got her this July. I don't know how old she was, I'm assuming at least a month. She was four inches long.

Here she is now! These were taken just a few minutes ago.

Her colour has really improved and her carrot tail keeps going further and further down with every shed. I'm SO glad I got her, she's such a sweet little girl, though occasionally a bit feisty. Thanks for looking.

Oh my God, she is a gorgeous, Super Hypo Tangerine Carrot-Tail Baldy(SHTCTB for Short). Great Pet-Store Pickup!

She's beautiful! It's so sad, the number of posts we have on here from people that gets geckos from pet chains. I've tried a few times to tell them to take them off sand, they need water, there are too many in that 2 gallon tank, etc etc...and people just don't care. Well I'm very glad she found her way to you. Keep up the good work, like I said, she's stunning! :)

Yes, it's very sad. I was disturbed at the condition that this store's reptiles were kept in. It was over crowded, they were feeding tiny babies large crickets (poor babies were starving), they were on sand, poop everywhere...etc. I reported them. Last time I went to check up on them they just didn't have leos stocked. I go by every so often and if I don't see some improvements soon I'm going to keep reporting until I get somewhere. I'm so glad I got Solis out of there, I'm just saddened I couldn't save more. I know there's the argument that "you just gave them more money to buy more geckos" but I think it's worth something if you are able to at least save one life. :)
