bell enigma x raptor

I just got a pair of eggs from my raptor female who was bred to my bell enigma male. What would I get from this crossing? Any help is greatly appreciated.I need to know whether to put these eggs in the male or female hovabator. Or maybe one in each?

with my very very very limited knowledge...this is what I think should be expected

since the albino genes are incompatible, a bell enigma and a RAPTOR ( which stands for ruby eyed albino tremper orange) will produce all normals... or normal enigmas?

hopefully someone more knowledgeable will come along and give you an answer...

You would get 1/2 Enigmas 1/2 Normals. They would all be "normal" colored and would be 100% Heterozygous for Bell Albino + RAPTOR.

what everyone else said...but I don't believe crossing the two albinos is bad in the cases of enigmas...think about it....it had to be done to get to where we are now with all of our tremper enigmas. All you have to do is keep breeding all offspring to trempers. THe bell line will eventually breed out. Good Luck!

Yup, and think of it this way... each egg has a 50% chance of being and Enigma or a Normal. They're all going to be double het for both albino strains which you should disclose to any potential buyers.

We have hatched 4 babies from our first 4 Enigma eggs this year, all of them are non-Enigmas. lol

I would implore you to think twice about doing Enigma x Enigma breeding quite yet, especially directly related ones. As a with any new morph we need to be responsible breeders and outcross them to help make them heartier.

Yes, JMG created them by using and test breeding a group of Eclipses until they finally got on that was not het Tremper and then bred it into their Bells. So the albino lines were not crossed. Here's a link to their site about how they created them: http://www.jmgreptile.com/breedingprojects.html
