Okay, sorry about that here are some more pictures with body shots. My camera sucks so did the best I could. Thanks again for trying to help me with this (all of you) I just want to know what more experinced people think they are. Would it also be okay to ask what you think my whole collection should be morphed as? Honestly..I'm just here to learn more and want to know what I have guess we all have to start some where. I am not looking to rush into breeding..I just want to learn more before I get into all that and just curious what I have they were all bought as pets so at the time I didn't care what they were.

I still think 2 and 4 are Bells... I have a proven Bell female that looks exactly like #2 color wise...

It's a close call... I'd say prove them out against a tremper first, though.

Alrighty as far as test breeding. Let's how close I get this #1 & #4 are both males. So if I pair #1 with #2 Female and they have normals #2 is a bell. And the same if I pair #4 with #5..#4 would be bell? Has anyone ever done this? Cause I know the albino strains are not compatible and I don't want to put any hatchlings in jeopardy just do figure out which is which. If they have normals what are the out comes het for both strains? Sorry to sound stupid just curious...thanks

Do you have any albinos that you can confirm without a doubt are one strain or another?

Even though we have given pretty solid guesses to you, breeding your animals together will not conclusively prove if they are bells or trempers. It will however prove whether or not they are the same strain of albino.

If you breed #1 to #2 and hatch albinos, they are both the same strain of albino. That doesn't prove them to be a specific strain. If you hatch normals, then they are different strains, but again this doesn't conclusively prove which leo is which strain.

This is the problem with not purchasing from reliable sources. Now in the process of proving them out, you are possibly going to produce undesirable double hets. You are going to need to decide what to do with any double hets you produce. They really should not be bred, from an ethics standpoint. It's up to you whether you want to keep them as pets, cull them, or find someone to adopt them (possibly a school would appreciate a class pet or two).

Or, what you can do is pair #2 and #4 together and if they produce albinos both are bell.

ORRRRRR. lol. You can breed one male to all of the females and see what each produces, then you can breed the other male to them the following season and see what happens then too. ;)

ORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR You can buy a proven (Tremper or Bell...) male to see what happens but you won't really know what the males you already have are....

My real suggestion would be to do my numero dos suggestion...Good Luck!

Also- Is there any chance one may be a Rainwater? Or not?

Blah, glad your thinking Matt cause I don't know where my head is lol. I'm not sure what to do. I don't thinks fair to say breed them if I can't pen point 100% what they are...and sell to somebody else ending up with the same problem. What would the rest of you do? if you don't mind me asking..

The only way you're going to find out what they are is to do test breedings.
:( It's ok though because you will know what they are. You'll end up with some double het for albino and some actual albinos if they are different albinos. Or you could end up with all albinos. :) If they are all Trempers like many on here think they are.

Good Luck!

At first I want to say hello and this is what I think:

1. Temper for sure!
2. certainly Bell, but may be Tremper
3. I think LV
4. Bell for sure!
5. Tremper for sure!
