I need some suggestions. I'm investing in some more expensive geckos this year to breed with next year and will need to upgrade my incubators to support them. Can I get some opinions on the best incbators out right now?

Either a Nature's Spirit or build your own. We use a Nature's spirit for our female incubator and it's really accurate. As long as you don't leave the door open for too long while you're in and out of it (the heating element stays on if the door is open) there are almost no temperature fluctuations.

I'm pretty sure I remember some great step by step directions for building one from a refrigerator on here somewhere too.

Heh, I checked out the Nature's Spirit site and it's probably a good thing that I wasn't planning on buying one for this breeding season. The way they talk about it they sound slammed right now! I'll have to put my order in later this spring or early summer. :main_rolleyes:

Here's another option. It may be a little on the expensive side, and it's not a huge incubator, but it sure does look cool. Most people on this forum seem to think it's overpriced, but I may be the first to try it if I don't end up building one, we'll see.

That does seem a bit high. The thing I always worry about with these types of products is that it's so computerized that if it breaks, it will be expensive to fix. But it does look sharp and I'm sure it works nicely.
