Exactly. I just keep calcium in my gecko's feeding dishes and just put some worms in and roll them around in it. It works fine.

I keep a small lid with calcium in the tanks at all times and when I dust mealworms, I use like a small tupperware bowl pour a small amount of Rep-Cal and kinda swirl the container around so the mealworms get a coating on them.

No need to mix in pure calcium as the formulation presently used has enough calcium in it for breeding purposes. I've done several seasons on the past formulation that did not have as much calcium with 120+ breeders - the product is well proven with both small and large scale gecko breeding with many different genera of geckos.

Just to make things clear:

T-Rex Leopard Gecko vitamin and Repashy Calcium Plus are the same thing, except those getting Calcium Plus are getting a fresher product and latest formulation. You can get Calcium Plus from Repashy Superfood dealers, folks all active breeders like myself. Allen Repashy ships fresh product to me as a dealer in two days time,T-Rex distributing takes longer to get to pet shops as there are more stops involved. Repashy Superfood dealers always have fresh product. It comes in resealable foil pouches and is dated in the foil, also comes in convenient sizes that are a good value for your $, from one gecko to 100.

The complimentary product to Calcium Plus is Insect Gutload.

When Allen came out with his products I was using Susan Donoghue's, when she quit I had her check out Allen's. She said his products were very good and she should know, she is a reptile nutrition veterinary specialist. Allen has done his homework, is an amazing authority on gecko nutrition, and there is a large group of us with the offspring to prove it. :)

Besides being state of the art, Calcium Plus is an all in one product, no mixing of two separate products is involved, it sticks to the food items well, and has a scent Eublepharine geckos are attracted to. All components used are human grade or better. Great stuff, and I have used all the good products on the market in my 24 years working with geckos. Allen keeps working on it too, so it just gets better and better!

and all this time i thought it came from sandfie ranch....LOL

My point is there are a lot more cogs in the wheel getting it as a T-Rex product. ;) SandFire certainly does ship a lot of T-Rex product, that is probably where your little bottle came from, then sat on the shelf for who knows how long at the pet shop.
