I am going to buy a trio of leopard geckos and i need help choosing the best morphs to breed together that inexpensive. I have a budget of $200 for 3 geckos (1 Male, 2 Females). I Also need Housing, I have a $300 Budget. Should I buy 3, 10 Gallons or a rack?

Welcome to GF. In my opinion the best morphs to breed are healthy examples of a morph you like with known genetics. If you want to produce geckos that show a recessive trait, obviously you'll have to get geckos where the male and the female both possess the trait. As far as housing goes, it's kind of up to you. Many people now feel that a 10 gallon is a bit too small for even a single gecko. I'd recommend reading things on the forum to help you make up your mind. If you've not owned leopard geckos before, I'd recommend keeping them for a year before deciding for sure to breed.

There is a lot to learn about basic gecko care before you should even think about breeding. Then, start learning basic genetics and decide what you want to produce. You could get a snow group or something similar for a pretty low price. But you need to think about the cost for incubators, housing for the babies, food, vitamins, etc. It adds up quickly. And what if you can't sell the babies. You'll need bigger housing for them at that point. Breeding is a big cost and there is a lot to think about before you buy a trio. Good luck! I think for a breeding trio, incubator, and racks, you'll probably need at least $600+ to start with. And don't forget that you'll need thermostats for the adult rack and baby racks.
