Best way to educate about leos?

What is the best way to go about convincing a chain store (petco) to discontinue the use of sand for leos? (and uros) They weren't even on calci sand. It looked like beach sand... white beach sand, the kind that sticks to everything! :main_no: Should I write a letter, phone call, in person?

I am afraid that this is correct, even if the employees knew if its wrong they couldnt do anything about it. The best thing to do is not buy from petco. I know its sad not being able to save the gecko's lives, but if you do their will be another one that will take its place and that is how petco wins.

If enough people complain and threaten to never shop there again, they may change their protocol, who knows.

Step One: Know what the F#$@! you're talking about yourself before criticizing anyone or anyplace. "Weren't even on calci sand?!" Are you really that oblivious? What you are suggesting as an improvement is worse than what you actually witnessed. I don't want you trying to tell anyone how to fix anything.

That is not what I meant. I never suggested calci sand as an improvement. Sand in general is unacceptable and so is your belligerent comment. I was simply mentioning that the sand was not in fact calci sand, which is a good thing. Maybe you should ask people to clarify what they meant to say before making harsh comments like that. I'm not stupid, I do my research before getting a pet.

I know. I don't know why I put the word "even" in the sentence. Calci sand is dusty and all around bad in general. My geckos are on slate tiles. I know what I am talking about, and if I don't know something, I ask. I'm not afraid of being wrong, but what I said wasn't wrong. I miss worded it.

Why do you want to argue with me? It was not a "sentence long typo" It was one word. Im sure Im not the only one on a forum that has made a typo.
