am i wasting my time trying to het my leos with patternless and tremper albino from a high yellow male ? does anyone still breed high yellows? also can i expect any surprises from a normal or should i not be breeding anything with her? i have 2 babies i kept which i think were gorgeous. 1 is high yellow and possible het patternless the other was high yellow and normal. the high yellow and normal is outstandingly beautiful though. ill post a pic soon but i am seeing orange on the tail and bright color of yellow/orange on the body under the bands. even has a greenish tint in some ways, ill post soon. my male is housed with all 3 females and they live happy and never fight etc but should i get him out of there and put a new morph in?

It all depends on why YOU like! If you breed your HY male with the patternless and albino females, all of their offspring would be normals (or HY's) het for the recessive trait of the mother. Personally, I like normals and HY's, and if you like them that's what really counts!

We breed normals, I get just as excited when they hatch as when something really high end hatches. Like Marcia said, breed whatever you enjoy!

cool thanks for the replies. i enjoy them and all of them are hand fed and stored in tanks not shelves. i kinda figured id get all normals with possibilities to be het for patties and albino but what are the odds that they wont be het with it? also with normals can u ever get anything else or does the dominant gene always rule? like if 2 normals have a recessive gene like albino can i ever have a albino?
