We bought a giant male that is 2 years old and you can tell he wasn't handled. he likes to bite and run away. We have had him 3 months now and he is calming down alot. I haven't gotten nipped by him in 3 or 4 nights!!! He seems to be better with my husband then with me. We started out just putting our hand in the tank and getting nipped on for a couple minutes. After a couple weeks of this we started just getting him out.

I got my gecko as a baby and every night before I would go to bed my mom would put her hand in to the tank and just let my gecko climb on. She is now 5 and almost never has a problem with being pick up and handled :).
