Took me long enough, but I finally got some geckos again and I made sure to start my comeback with a bang. I just had 1.3 shipped to me today, most of which came from Ray at Designer Geckos but the male is from Dayton Gecko. I'll start with him since he was the first to arrive (excuse the pictures-just wanted some quick ones before I let them settle in):
There are so many things I like about this guy. He's kept a lot of his lavender coloration, he has a cool head pattern, he's very mellow and easy to handle, and just his structure in general-he has such a wide head that he just looks like a male even from a distance. I also thought it was cool that the color creeping on his tailbase is yellow instead of the typical orange. Apparently he's not from any of the big name bloodlines in bold leos, so I like the added genetic diversity I should get from him as well.
This is my personal favorite of the girls Ray sent:
This girl's awfully nice too though:
Finally, the oddball (a possible super giant):
The girls are all big considering how young they are. The albino is a little over 60 grams at about 5 months old, but the other two are in the upper 50s and a month older. I'm hoping for some big healthy babies from this group, but I'll give the females more time to mature before I introduce them.
