Hi, I'm new here. I've had my baby gecko for about 6 months now, and he was given to me for free from a breeder because he was born with this strange lump on his tummy. He has always acted normally, always been active and eats like a champ, but the lump is still there. It gets bigger after a meal and then shrinks down a bit. So I'm just wondering if anyone knows what it is or if it's anything I should worry about?

Let me know if I need to fill out that questionnaire. I didn't see the need since this is a birth defect and he seems perfect besides the lump.

Welcome to GF. I would guess that this lump could be a hernia and what you're seeing is the gut expanding after feeding and then contracting. I had a gecko with a hernia. The vet said that surgery was too risky and that as long as you can "reduce" the lump --meaning that you can push it back in (even though it pops out again), it's probably fine. Obviously the gecko should be a pet only.
