So my rapashy arrived and it looks like it hasn't touched it its Been in in their since Saturday morning. I've just ordered repcal phosphorus and d3 free calcium powder and reptivate and I seen it do the communication tail wag to me this morning when I checked him when I woke up. Also he was dark brown this morning and he is yellow this evening why do they change colour? And looked in to getting her a friend but none of the pet shops near me stock them. How often do they lay eggs I know it from 8-10 months and I would hazard a guess she is older.

I missed your original post, but from what I can see of the video I assume you have a crestie. Here are my thoughts:
Eating: It's not unusual for it to seem that they aren't eating. Sometimes they just lick the CGD and it doesn't show that they've eaten it. I don't think I actually saw signs of my crestie eating when I first got him for months. He was a hatchling when I got him and now he's 8. Just keep offering. You can have it lick food off your hand but that may become a permanent situation.

Color: yes, they do change color. They have a "fired up" phase, usually when they're active at night where the colors are darker and brighter. They have a "fired down" phase at rest when they are usually paler

Companion and eggs: Do you know the gender of your gecko? They don't really need company --they are not social. If you're new to geckos, breeding is not a good idea until you've had more time to care for them. If you do get a new gecko, you will need to quarantine them from each other for at least a month.

Enjoy him/her/it. They are really lovely.

Hi there it's a mourning gecko my neighbours abandoned it when they moved I know they clone but I didn't know what they ate for about two months so I was feeding him organic puréed bananas (what my son eats) and locust so I'm thinking if it had laid eggs it ate them.

My response was meant for cresties. In terms of mourning geckos: they eat both live prey like small crickets and fruit nectar. For best nutrition consider getting one of the crested gecko diets. They may look to be different colors at different times of the day depending on heat and mood. I think it's more likely that there will be egg laying when there's more than one, even though they're parthenogenetic. I'm not saying a single one won't lay eggs, but I remember reading somewhere that it's more likely when there's a group.
