yes thats normal, the male bites the females neck whilst mating.

I think it must say that on every care sheet about breeding, so i suggest you read up a bit more before continuing to let your gecko's mate as its not something that should be entered lightly.

and youve posted this several times.

EDIT: okay.... guess my advice got ignored.

Agree'd. Please (can't say it enough) always educate yourself COMPLETELY before ever venturing into the more advanced aspects of owing herps. Not only can the lack of knowledge hurt or even kill your leo, but it just adds to the larger probem of people who breed solely for profit and then it makes all breeders look bad imo. I know a lot of the experienced keepers here are happy to help the beginner breeder educate themselves to becme a better, well prepared owner/future breeder, but please take the time to educate yourself and ask questions BEFORE ever attempting to breed any pet. This forum is an awesome resource for any herp owner looking to expand their knowledge of their pet. It hs been an invalueable resource for me.

Dog Shrink already beat me to it. Since it looks like you have your leos already mating I'd suggest researching as much as you can about breeding ;)
