You're right they do fade with age and the ones towards her cheeks are turning grey. Yeah the pic is kind of dark, but believe me the spots are black. I just checked my others and they all have spots like the ones in your pics. However, this one's are definitely black.

Regardless, let's give her a few more sheds before deciding.

EDIT: Forgot to mention I love how uniform the spots are on your Stripe Bells!

It seems Ians spots match the dark end of the rest of the body, but 420's are the darkest thing on the body. Could be the pick? Lets see the bigger picture.

I took the photo and lightened it in Picasa. The spots are definatately more black than the ones on the geckos I posted. I've had Bells with spots as black and like I said, they'ld just fade away.:(

Michael can I post the pic lightened a bit??

Another Crazy Theory...

Some of you might remember me posting about a Bell female that I got from Mark Bell and I thought she could be an Enigma gene carrier... Well this baby (another is showing the black now too) is from that female and I think the black spots could be het markers.

If you don't know what het markers are, they are visual signs that show an animal is het for a certain morph. Like heavy spotting with het Blizzards...

I know it sounds crazy, but the Enigma had to come from somewhere. They didn't just appear one day. So it's totally possible he sold leos that carried the gene. Hopefully I'll get a couple more of these, but there's only four eggs left incubating from her.

Just got done cleaning up the babies and have more news on the BSBs LOL BSB! The one I mentioned also has the BS on its first body band. The most exciting bit is the Snow Bell has BS on his neck band and body! There also looks to be some black coloration coming through on his lower mid flank area!

Pics pics I know let's see the pics! Don't worry I'm getting a camera for XMAS!
