Black Stuff on Toes

My new male SS has black... stuff... on his toes. My guess is it's dried herptivite. There's also smeared black stuff on the side of the tank w/ the water bowl. I have him soaking his feet in foot-high warm water. Im posting to see if you guys think it could be something else, or if you have any other suggestions. Thanks in advance.

I think you are probably right. Sometimes if the crickets go through the water and run around the tub we will see little black streaks. Same if we spill a little supplement in the tub and the gecko walks through it with wet feet.

My leo's tose get brownish from the moist coco fiber in her moist hides. I wouldn't worry about it, its just like when we walk around bare foot & at the end of the day or feet at blac/brown :main_rolleyes:
