Been wanting this species for a while now, and finally got the chance to get some. They're pretty large, around 12"+, easy to keep and very muscular. So far I love them. I got a large group of them, so I'm hopeful for eggs this year.

Wow. Looks great. Honestly, I clicked on this because I'd never heard of this species (or genus for that matter) and now I have a new species to learn about. Thanks for that.

Oh you're very welcome. I just happened upon this species while cruising around looking at Mada. geckos, and have been wanting them since last summer. There's just not a lot of info out on them, and not many people keep them... I think because they aren't flashy like a lot of other species. I think they're right up my alley though. :)

They're kindof like rhacs, like a hot spot of around 90f, bury their eggs and are very hardy. They can also get quite large- I just measured one at a little over 12", and they will likely thicken up a bit since they just came into the country a couple weeks ago.

Very dinosaur looking, very cool species and good luck with them. Do you know what they will top out at? Or is a foot around an average length?

I got a deal from a buddy who I've helped get several sales, and I bought a group of them so I'd rather not say. LLL has had them in the past, I think for $99/pc.

If I get hatchlings, I'll match or beat that and mine will be CB. There's are certainly WC animals.
