Hey guys,
I just got some Blatta Lateralis today and found some egg sacks already, and am unsure what to do with them. The guy I bought them from said he puts his in an incubator til they hatch. I don't have an incubator but I have a kritter keeper I could put them in, then put that on an extra UTH I have. Do you think that would work? Should I mist them every once in awhile for humidity?
Thanks,
Eric

I just leave them with the adults. You can seperate if you want and keep in a warm, humid environment, but I've always just left egg cases in the bin and my colony is thriving.

Thanks. Do you mist your bins? I'm worried the eggs won't have enough humidity.

I keep the water crystal dish over the heat source. This usually creates enough humidity in the closed bin. If it's particularly dry weather I might mist the egg crates once or twice a week, but usually I have no problems with humidity as I only have a small screen section in the lid. Lateralis eggs are pretty hardy, they are roaches after all. :p
