Blind gecko!?!?

I have finally determined that my gecko that hatched April 23 or 26th is blind. He will walk directly into my hand if I just hold it straight up and down. I have currently have been force feeding him with crickets gutloaded with a calcium, lettuce and carrot. One eye looks entirely black and I've never seen it closed. And the other eye is just like a normal eye but closed. Do you think that when he starts getting bigger he will have just a cleft eye?

I think he should visit the vet to determine what's going on.

I would take him to a vet if you want to determine what's going on. If he's eating and gaining weight on his own he may not be blind. Leos are visual predators that usually won't hunt if they can't see their prey. No one will be able to give you a definite answer over the internet all they can do is guess.
