Hey everyone! I just acquired a leopard gecko from a friend because he wasn't eating for her. When I got him, his cage was messy and there were worms all over. He also is really thin. Apparently he hasn't eaten in the past week and a half, but I think it is much longer. Upon more observations I realized he is blind and I believe that's why he's not eating. I called Petco and they told me a way to force feed him, which I tried, but I also noticed there is a patch of skin that seems to be missing by his lip. I got his mouth open and the worm in, but he keeps spitting it out. I don't think he is going to make it much longer if I can't get food in him and I am worrying.
Does anyone have any advice of better ways to force feed him or what I could do to put weight on him faster. Also what I can do about the chunk by his mouth?
