So mack snows are a recessive gene, and therefore are dominant in a recessive (Mack) x double recessive (Blazing Blizzard)?

No, Mack Snows are Co-Dominant. If you Breed a male Mack Snow (which is simply described as being visibly het for Super Snow) to a female Blazing Blizzard (which is a homozygous double recessive (Albino & Blizzard)) you will produce :

50% Het. Blizzard, Het. Albino,
50% Mack Snow, Het. Blizzard, Het. Albino

Only 50% probability that the hatchlings will be Mack Snows, but all will be 100% Het for both Albino and Blizzard (or sometimes described as 100% Het for Blazing Blizzard).

You have a great group and a sweet project! Here’s what you’ll get:

LVBB x Snake Eye Blizzard = 100% Blizzards all 100% het Las Vegas Albino. Could have some Snake Eye Blizzards too, but their “genetics†are not quite understood.
LVBB x Banana Blizzard = 100% Blizzards all 100% het Las Vegas Albino. If your’s is a true Banana Blizzard you’d get 100% Blizzards all 100% het for Patternless and Las Vegas Albino
LVBB x LVPA = 100% Las Vegas Albino all 100% het for both Blizzard and Patternless

I'm glad to read that someone else beside myself was confused by the blazing blizzard eye color
I had always thought that a blazing blizzard was a pure white blizzard with ruby red eyes
Thanks to everyone that has contributed to this thread and helped explain the blizzard morph in such detail

1 thing i wanted to make note on, people seem to be confused with banana blizzards, a true banana blizzard is actully a blizzard crossed to a patternless, so if its a banana blazing blizzard thats actully 3 genes, which is tough to do
