Has anyone done any work with blizzards and gotten anything neat. I don't see much other than the bb and then the norm bliz, bana bliz and midnight. Is it just a stubborn gene not compatible with others much?

Pretty much! LOL

I don't tend to think of midnight blizzards as being a serperate morph. They're such mood geckos that I tend to think of them as just a darker blizz (kinda like you would think of a spotty normal as spotty, not melanistic).

I did see one photo of a blizzard with a TINY bit of carrot tail. When I say tiny, the orange was hardly even there.

i dont know of any. but the only proven dbl homo patternless/blizzard (banana blizzard) i know of was produced by kelli and proven out by kelli. to know for sure you have a dbl homo you have to proce it out first sssooooo most of what people are calling banana blizzards arent anything except a blizzard with yellow on it

im working in seeing if I can make giant blazing blizzards :main_thumbsup:

This season Im breeding a tremper blazing blizzard to a giant het tremper and hope to get at least one giant double het blazing or even a giant albino het bliz. Then next season Ill breed any giants produced this year from my project to a blazing in the hopes of getting my giant blazing blizzard. Once I (hopefully) establish that morph Ill work on making a super giant blazing blizzard, which I will name Marcus :main_thumbsup: From there I hope to make giant diablo blancos :main_laugh:

Sounds like a fun project!

Next week I'm pairing one of my Mack Snow het Blizzard 50% het Bell males with a Snake Eyed Blizzard and a Paradox Eclipse Blizzard 66% het Bell. I only have one female Mack Snow het Blizzard 50% het Bell and she won't be ready for several months although she's almost 60 grams.

Next month I'm pairing up my Mack Pastels het Blizzard 50% het Bell. I have really high hopes for these projects and if I get lucky I should produce some cool stuff.

A really fun project :D I like tremper albinos, blizzards, and giants so I decided to combine the three.

Hopefully your work with Enigmas will shed some light on their genetics. I know that in humans there is a gene that causes onely the eyes to be amel, with the rest of the body normal, and then there is one that I think only effects the hair? Since gecko breeding can be controlled, and their generations are so short inbetween, maybe the enigma gene(s) will teach us a thing or two.

Don't jinx me! I don't know for sure if I'll hatch Enigmas from my Black Spot Bells... It's just a hunch for now.
