Hi so I was wondering about blood leopard gecko? Are they a genotype or line breed or what are they. I see people posting up selling them as bloods but the body isnt truly all red like the pictures on Blood Hypo and Tangerine Leopard Gecko. If anyone has some info on them that can assist I would greatly appreciate it. Oh and what is a blood cross?

Blood is a specific linebred line of tangerine. In order to be considered "blood" the gecko would have to reliably have genetics from other geckos in this line and would have to have the coloring as well. A "blood cross" means that 1 parent is from blood lines. There's no guarantee that the offspring of a blood cross will produce bloods. I have 1 breeder bought as a blood cross. She's a very pleasing pastel tangerine color but by no stretch of the imagination does she, or her offspring of the last 2 seasons, have blood coloring and when I sell her offspring, consequently I don't even mention the "blood cross".
