Blotter paper substrate?????

Ya know those blotter thingies that go on your desk?
Those semi-flexible, textured and aborbent rectangular blotters that
you stick on a desk??
Has anyone tried using one as a substrate?
Seems like an idea! Its ridgid enough so your leo cant roll it up and hide under
it! and it is absorbent. I saw some on Amazon for like $9.00 for 3 20 X 36'' sheets.
The ones I saw come in brown.
Has anyone experimented with these?

P.S. I dont mean the frame holder, just the paper sheet!!

Did someone say blotter? Like Pink Camoflauge? lol I also thought of calling my gecko business Grateful Geckos! lol A little dancing bear symbol on every deli cup. Seriously though, Phil and Bobby would probably sue me to help support their fine wine habit.

P.S. - Yes, a lot of people have "experimented" with blotter. Not for gecko substrate though.
