Blue Tongue Skink

As we walked around the All Cleveland show, I think it was on our 5th or 6 th time around, Steve decided that he NEEDED a blue tongue skink. He's wanted one for months now. We were going to get one from JMG, but then he saw this one two tables down. He/She a about 6 months old.

Our blue tongue is from Chaos Reptiles. She/He is CB. I don't know about JMGs, but they were all beautiful and healthy looking.

I wasnt aware JMG sold BTS, thought they worked just with leos, that all I see for sale on their site anyway.

Very nice skink. I have never owned one but worked with one at a pet store I used to work at and they seem like really good pets. Very friendly. Whenever I could catch a brake, he was one of the animals I would go spend some time with.

They don't have them listed on their site, but had an ad on kingsnake, I believe, and I had also talked at length with them about the breeding of blue tongues.

There is one at our local pet store and I just fell in love with it. And I usually don't fall in love with anything at the pet store. But this guy is huge and beautiful and healthy. I was wondering how their temperaments are.

OMG- I'm so sold on a BTS! But I think i would rather find a young BTS from a breeder instead of the very large and adult BTS at our pet store. I just know I would have no idea where the animal came from or what its actual age is. Now I just have to find a way to talk my fiance into it!

I saw 5 baby BTS last night when I got my heat cable. All about 3 weeks old and big and fat. They were so tame. They were cb.

I really like BTS. The one at my friend's shop is a total cupcake. Never a single his, pufff, or any type of bowing up. He seems to genuinely enjoy being handled.
