I read somewhere that if you keep a dish of mealworms in their cage at all times that it will help them to grow faster. I just put a dish of them in today, We'll see how it goes

It doesn't necessarily make them grow faster. They will probably eat more. It's not needed, it's best to regulate how much they eat. Juveniles-babies should eat 4-5 a day.
