I have a super snow enigma, an atomic x g project and a pure marble eye, all female. I want to enjoy them and learn more and get setup to breed them in the near future. I am wondering if it would be ok to introduce a w/y male to them to breed and what are the possible morphs i can achieve by doing this? Or any better suggestions for a male? I am pretty noobish so constructive criticism and help is encouraged. thanks

My most constructive suggestion is to look carefully at what you, use the gecko calculator and leopardgeckowiki for help and figure it out yourself. Even if you don't get all the way there, I can guarantee that you'll have a lot more satisfaction as well as know-how as a breeder if you work a bit on figuring this out rather than just getting someone to tell you. Just my opinion, someone else may want to just "spill the beans".

The tricky thing in choosing a male for those females will be to find one with no genes that might "interfere" with one another. You need to know if there is a possible albino het in any of the females. I assume they all come from Matt Baronak? If so, his G Project has Tremper mixed in and I'm not sure about the SS or Marble Eye. Any possible hets would have been on the documentation you got from him when you purchased the animals.

Assuming a possible het for Tremper you wouldn't want to pair the G Project with a male of unknown background. The marble eye is also problematic as you would want a male that has no chance of being het for eclipse, which can be hard to come by as many folks have not been diligent about watching for or proving out eclipse hets. W/Y that's proven to have no hets will be extremely hard to find and expensive. I read a conversation about whether any of them existed a while back and I'm not sure there was a concrete verdict.

The only thing Ill add to that would be that marble eyes are also mostly possible hets tremper.

To the OP, just be sure to do your due diligence on both your upcoming male and all of your females. Get any and all info you can on all of them and if your not 100% sure about the genetics then either test breed them or not breed them at all (probably not what you want to here I know). Ask a lot of questions, do a lot of research, etc. Make sure what you have/are getting is exactly what it should be so the next guy down the line thats buying from you knows the same.

And be sure to read a lot about enigmas before you choose to breed them. Theres a lot more to them then pretty colors and patterns. Most of which you might not want to deal with.

Sorry for getting off track ;) But Id hate to see you get into something and realize the possible problems later
