Hey All,

I have a Gecko that is ovulating (to the point her ovum (I think its called) is literally glowing Red), I paired her with a male, but the male does not seem interested at all.

He has been with her for about two weeks now, and not even so much as a tail vibration.

Is there a reason, the male would not be interested in the female?

I have the rack they are in set to 88 degrees, is that too hot for them to breed?

This is my second season breeding, and I have never had an issue with males, not pursuing the female before. Should I separate them? Or keep them together until they decide to breed?

Thanks

I keep my male and females together all season, so it's less of an issue for me but I have had males that I never saw mate with the females but I got fertile eggs. Just because you don't see it doesn't necessarily mean it's not happening. Maybe you could keep them together for a few days and then separate and see if you get developing eggs. If not, just put them together for a few days again.
