breeding double het's

i was just wondering what the out come would be. breeding my male dh ta/ba enigma to a couple of female dh ta/bell? would i get a mix of bell and trempers?

I think it's likely you will get a bunch of albinos and not know whether they are tremper or bell and you will probably get some normals and not know which albino they are het for.

yeh, not a good idea i know. i just wanted to see if it would still produce enigma? not planning on doing this just curious.

yeah you will get some enigmas and enigma albinos...

I didn't realize that was what you wanted to know. If you breed the enigma to anything, as I understand it, a certain percentage of the babies will be enigmas no matter what other genetic heritage they have.

enigma's generally produce 50% enigmas when bred to a non enigma

the odds are there but you should think of it like this that every developing embryo has a 50% chance of being an enigma. You might get 50% of your animals to be enigma and you might not that is just playing the odds.
