Breeding females without calcium deposits

I have a few females that are perfectly heathy with their vitamin/fat/calcium deposits showing under their front legs. I dont feel comfortable breeding my girls that do not have them.. I gutload crickets, dust them, and provide the calcium powder with d3 for them to lick on... I do not dust the mealies b/c they dry up and die soon after being dusted if they arent ingested immediately. My question is does a female which does not show calcium deposits need more supplementation before breeding or does this not necessarily mean there is a calcium deficency??

I just leave a bowl of calcium w/ D3 in all of my gecko cages. This allows them to get the supplementation that they need, when they need it.

Those 'calcium deposits' under the front armpits of your geckos simply means they have and excess of calcium in their system. They are in no way necessary for breeding purposes. If your female is at least a year old, weighs more than 50 grams, and is ovulating... there is no reason not to breed her if your are planning to.

Ditto what Marcia said. I am no where near as experienced as she is, but I can tell you with confidence that hardly any of my girls have the 'excess calcium bubbles' under their arms and they have done just fine breeding with regular supplementation. ;)
