Breeding gecko with half a tail

Is it safe to breed a female leopard gecko that has lost half of its tail in a freak accident involving the thermometer display falling on her tail, and the rest never regrowing? She is 7 months old and is currently 51grams.

left my camera at work, so no pic today, other than missing the smaller half of her tail, she is perfectly fine, it is not a genetic thing, I am just wondering if that could affect her ability to retain weight when breeding

I would guess that would depend on her overall health and how much she's got stored in her tail. I would personally wait till she's a bit bigger just to be on the safe side.
