I have a male blizzard and a female mack snow. I'm headed to the reptile convention in Kansas City this weekend to pick up some more females and maybe another male. Any suggestions on morphs I should look for for a breeding project? I'm open to any suggestions.

I was thinking about a raptor female to try for the diablo blancos after a few generations.

If it was I would pick up 1 or 2 more mack snow females and increase the odds of getting the marking you like. But I really like the mack snow patterns and I wish I had some for next season but right now I don't.

And a female raptor could get you to the diablo blanco just need to breed with the Blizzard and temp sex for male to breed back to the female it would increase your odds of one.

Good suggestion on temp sexing to male and breeding back to female. That seems like it would be quicker since the mother will already be up to breeding size.

One question I had about the RAPTORs though. It's Red Eyed Albino Patternless Orange.

The patternless, that's polygenic right? It's not recessive, like Murphy's Patternless?

I guess I'm confused about that. I've seen some call a simple tremper albino eclipse a RAPTOR even though it had pattern on it's back.

It depends on whether or not you would like to breed morphs, hets, or both. It also depends on if you are looking to sell your animals.

If you are looking to breed your blizzard, I would recommend picking up a (tremper) blazing blizzard and breed that to your male blizzard. This would result in Blizzards (het Tremper)

This would be a good step in breeding DBs. Getting a raptor and breeding it to a blizzard would result in all NORMALS, and would take a minimum of 3 years to get DBs and that is if everything goes perfect, and even then its not a guarantee.
