I have a female that is 56g, one that is 50g and a male that is 42g. I'd like the male to get a little bigger but he seems to have gone off feed with the females ovulating around him in he rack. is this size difference too large to attempt breeding or is the male at risk? I'm pretty sure it's no big deal but I've never had a situation like this before.

I haven't had much of an issue with relative size: my 100 gram males regularly succeed with my 50 gram females. I think what's more of an issue is the possibility that an underweight male won't eat if breeding and will do himself long term harm. On the other hand, if he's not eating anyway, it could make sense to breed him. Waiting 2 months wouldn't hurt either.
