Is it possible to breed phoenix worms? I'd love to start using them as feeders, but they are a bit expensive to continually order. When I tried to find any breeding information, however, I was met with several different answers and nothing really definate. I know they are a fairly new feeder, but I was wondering if anyone here has had any success with a colony?

Thank you, that is one long thread :main_laugh:

From what I've gathered from it thus far, the colony would have to be kept outdoors. I'll have to run some tests to ensure that the neighborhood stray cats and dogs will stay out of it, but overall it seems pretty straightforward.

It's amazing that these insects are so healthy for herps considering the variety of waste they feed on.
